Eric Pipkin
Head of School
Eric Pipkin will become the Head of School for New Braunfels Christian Academy (NBCA) in June of 2009. He will lead the school's spiritual philosophies
and academic development, manage school administration and provide community outreach on behalf of NBCA.
Pipkin is passionate about Christian education. His vision for NBCA is to build Godly leaders for tomorrow by being an extension of the Christian home
and church - to teach "with a God-centered worldview, and approach the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical aspects of the whole child."
Pipkin has 29 years of professional experience in finance, budgeting, operations, management and school administration, and brings a wealth of
Association of Christian Schools (ACSI) accreditation experience. He also brings an understanding of community relations, corporate sponsorship programs
and capital campaign development.
He comes to NBCA from Living Word Christian School in O'Fallon, Missouri where he has been Head Administrator for four years. Before that, he served for
eight years at Grace Community High School in Tyler, Texas as the Business Administrator, and later Dean of Student Affairs. Prior to his work in school
administration, Pipkin spent 15 years in the commercial banking industry and provided years of lay ministry.
He has a Master of Arts in School Administration from Oral Roberts University, a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from
Corpus Christi State University - now Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration
from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
Eric, his wife, Stephanie, and their three children have relocated to New Braunfels. Their son, Jake, 21, is a junior and a cadet in the Corps at Texas A&M.
Their daughter, Erin, 19, is a freshman in college, and plans to transfer and join her brother at A&M. And their youngest son, Jesse, 15, will be a
