Christian Development
Jesus Christ is the center of our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten program. All children are encouraged in Christian growth through scripture memorization, daily prayer, and Bible stories. They are led by biblical principles to discipline their lives and develop Christ-like characters. Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers lead each child to seek Christ by being Godly examples and trustworthy mentors. Academic Development PreK 3 - for 3 year olds Our exciting PreK 3 program is based on excellent children's literature. We have carefully made these selections and grouped them into thematic units on which we base our day. Your child will gain a love of books, a curiosity about print, and knowledge in a wide variety of subjects. Students in PreK 3 go to motor development/PE twice a week, chapel twice a month, and music daily. |

PreK 4 - for 4 year olds
Students in the PreK 4 program learn actively. Skills are learned through our ACSI programs: "I Know How to Count and Write" and "I Know Letters and Sounds." Your child will gain a love for learning and a solid foundation in math and phonics. Students in PreK 4 also participate in chapel, library, motor development/PE, and music. Kindergarten - for 5 year olds The formal kindergarten year (K5) incorporates the A Beka Book program on number skills and language arts with an emphasis on phonetic letters and sounds. This lively curriculum gives students an excellent beginning in language arts and beginning reading skills. Our math program is an activity-based curriculum with an emphasis on hands-on learning and daily use of math skills. K5 students participate in Bible and library twice a month, motor development/PE and Spanish twice a week, and music daily. Each class also has a computer learning center. Social Development Opportunities are provided to help develop behaviors such as sharing, helping others, working constructively, listening to and following directions, respecting the rights of others, and demonstrating self-control. |
