New Braunfels Christian Academy offers an academically advanced curriculum which is on average one and a half to two years ahead of the public school system. You may ask how we are able to do this, the answer is very simple; smaller class sizes and higher expectations. Most classes average less than 20 students. This means our teachers know your child. When it comes to what we expect from our students, our expectations are high, but we don't just mean in what the students do academically. |

A student's attitude and behavior are just as important to their academic success as
learning how to study or to complete their assignments on time. Our students attend
NBCA because they want to be here. Being an NBCA student is about being called by
God to be a part of a very special family He has gathered together.
At NBCA, God comes first above all other things. Using this as our top priority, everything else falls into place. At the high school level, our program offers several Pre-A.P., A.P. and honors courses. Students are expected to work hard in order to be successful. Our program is preparing our students for some of the best universities in the nation. All students are expected to meet a high academic standard to remain eligible for extracurricular programs. In fact, you'll find that our standards are much higher than those placed on us by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial schools under whose authority we compete. This is not to say that we do not value the importance of extracurricular programs. On the contrary, we focus on the development of the whole student, Spirit, Mind and Body. As scripture instructs us, we are all born with specific gifts. Part of the NBCA experience is discovering those gifts you have been blessed with in a safe and Christ-filled environment. |
