How will you run?
The Parent Teacher Organization for New Braunfels Christian Academy proudly announces Run With Purpose, 2012. We have plans to fill Landa Park with eternal purpose and we hope you plan to join us! The goal of the event is to above all, realize God's eternal prize! The run will furthermore uplift our NBCA schools, while supporting the New Braunfels S.O.S. Food Bank. We are excited to share our purposeful message and ask "HOW WILL YOU RUN?"
Remember - bring your entire family and invite a friend, a neighbor, your pastor, or in-laws! The day and our message is for EVERYONE: big and small, young and old. Strollers welcome too! Help us show how New Braunfels Christian Academy will... Run with Purpose!
Stay with us after the race for fun and games to include a rock wall, face painting, balloon creations, human hamster balls, a fantastic lunch and more, all supporting NBCA. The cost of fun and games ranges from $2 to $6. Save time by pre-ordering your individual lunch tickets for $10 each and game tickets for $1 each when you register for the race.
Please help NBCA RUN WITH PURPOSE by bringing non-perishable food items with you on race day to fill the S.O.S. "Spirit of Sharing" New Braunfels Food Bank.

PTO General Meeting
May 8, 2012 @ 8:30 am in Extended Care Room @ Elementary Campus. Holding PTO Officer Election for next year. All faculty and parents invited to attend.
PTO Nominating Committee
Your PTO is seeking volunteers for the upcoming nominating committee. This committee seeks parents to fill our PTO Executive Board for the 2012-2013 school year. If you are interested in serving on the nominating committee or serving on the PTO Board, please contact Andrea Francis at pto@nbchristianacademy.org
Objectives of the PTO
The objective of the New Braunfels Christian Academy Parent Teacher Organization is to foster a closer union between home and school and between parents and teachers; thus promoting and supporting the best interests of the students of NBCA. The PTO supports the whole school, not just one interest. The PTO provides support to NBCA by raising funds and sponsoring events throughout the year to enhance our students' school experience. Together we can make a difference in your child's education!
Get Involved!
Research shows that when parents get involved in their child’s education at home and at school, the child performs better and the school is better for their involvement.
We invite you to join and become actively involved in the New Braunfels Christian Academy Parent Teacher Organization. All parents, guardians, and family members of students attending NBCA and NBCA staff may join the PTO. Dues are $8 per family. You may volunteer as a PTO Class Representative; serve as a PTO Officer; be part of one or all PTO activities; or simply show your support by becoming a member.
Meetings
The PTO Executive Board convenes regularly for monthly meetings. Three general membership meetings are held throughout the year for the planning of various events and initiatives that support the Christian Academy’s academic, athletic and other enrichment programs.
PTO Activities
- Hospitality support for school events such as Grandparent's Day, Veteran's Day, and Pastor Appreciation Day.
- NBCA Staff Appreciation: monthly recognition with special events throughout the year.
- Volunteer recruitment for various school events.
