Overview
New Braunfels Christian Academy is an accredited, private college-preparatory and interdenominational Christian school guided by the belief that God is the center and source of all wisdom, knowledge and truth (John 17:17, II Corinthians 13:8), and the Bible is the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God which contains this truth (II Peter 2:20-21). With more than 350 students in grades Pre-K through 12, we deliver a Christian education, promote and maintain high academic standards and encourage students to achieve their highest potential.
We believe that knowledge is incomplete unless gained within the context of the truths taught by God in the books of the Bible. Thus, the Word of God permeates all areas of our curriculum and we provide a complete education by addressing the religious, intellectual, social, emotional and physical aspects of the child – promoting excellence in spirit, mind and body. It is from this perspective that we provide formal instruction in the academic disciplines of English and language arts, history and geography, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, fine arts and physical education.
To ensure student progress and achievement, the Christian Academy promotes the close collaboration of parents and educators and communication between them. Faculty and parents work together to shape each student’s educational experience, design individualized expectations and model enthusiasm for learning. We accomplish this in part through the school's web based parent portal, RenWeb.
Not only does our faculty exhibit mastery of the disciplines, but they also possess the gifts of communicating with and inspiring young people. Curiosity, creativity and learning are nurtured by maintaining small classes (maximum is 20 students per class) and by offering enrichment opportunities including extracurricular activities and community service. Our proven approach is evidenced by the achievement of our students.

Advanced Placement Tests
In 2010, the Christian Academy was recognized with three AP Scholars and again in 2011 another student received the AP Scholar recognition (a student qualifies as such by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher). Thirty five of our AP students took 69 AP exams with 65% scoring a 3 or higher. The 2011 results were just as impresive. AP exam results for the past two years have been as follows:
2010 - 51 juniors and seniors made qualifying scores on 46 exams. 2011 - 41 juniors and seniors made qualifying scores on 34 exams.
