National Merit Scholarship program

NBCA will administer PSAT exams in class for juniors to practice for the SAT and/or to qualify for National Merit Scholarship, October 12, 2011. Traditionally, NBCA students score higher than the national average on the SAT and ACT exams. NBCA students were named as a National Merit Finalist in 2010 and in 2011. The National Merit Scholarship can offer as much as a tuition-free college education to recipients of this award.

SAT and PSAT Prep Course

In the summer NBCA offers a week long morning class to prepare for the PSAT and SAT. In the fall we offer Saturday morning sessions. In class, students take practice exams, go over test strategies, become familiar with the way the tests are written, utilize the College Board online SAT practice features, and register for Quick Start online (the College Board site for getting ready for college and for taking the exams).
