Another way to gain college credit is through the College Board CLEP exam. These exams are administered on a college campus once a month. Though CLEP scores are not as widely accepted in colleges as Advanced Placement, many colleges will accept CLEP credit in math, social studies, and science. The colleges that do accept English CLEP scores mainly require students to take the exam on their campus and to write an essay to be accessed by their own faculty.
